Revolution Mill Stream Restoration

Funded by the Clean Water Management Trust Fund ($400,000).

In partnership with the Self-Help Ventures Fund, Kris Bass Engineering and the City of Greensboro, PCC will oversee the detailed design, permitting, and implementation of an innovative river corridor restoration project in an intensive urban environment. Located at the repurposed Revolution Mill complex, the completed stream restoration project will be the finishing touches on reversing the past negative environmental impacts of the former mill. The project will restore 2,000 linear feet of the North Buffalo Creek, featuring in-stream structures that will be highly visible from three pedestrian bridges.
